My name’s Kristen Norman and I’m a full-time photographer based in Chicago. I’ve been a photographer a little over 9 years now and have a degree in photojournalism from Ohio University (Go Bobcats!). I shoot regularly for the Chicago Tribune and my work has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Atlantic and HONDA, among others.
When I’m not shooting for newspapers, I photograph weddings & families. I thought, why let my passion for documentary photography stop at news stories? Documenting life and sharing those images with the people I photograph is what I love most about photography. Everyone should have the opportunity to have beautiful photos of the ones they love.
With my background in photojournalism, my style is natural and authentic. My philosophy is, the less posing the better. My clients want their photos to look and feel real and they do – because the moments are! Whether it’s your big day or family photos at your home – I’m there to observe and capture.
I would love to photograph you and your loved ones. Let’s Chat!
