I’m Kristen (she/her), a Michigan wedding photographer based in Grand Rapids. For the past 14 years I’ve had the honor of documenting love stories all over the county.
My background in photojournalism gives my style a timeless, intimate and classic look. As your photographer I am here to guide you and create an unforgettable experience for my clients. I will be there with you every step of the way, observe and document your unique and individual story.
Documenting life’s special moments and creating meaningful, storytelling photographs of the ones you love is the best part of my job.
My philosophy is simple - to document and make photographs that will stand the test of time. Your moments, artfully captured. Photos should take you back in time and a great photo will make you remember how that moment felt.

PET: My dog, Harvey, she’s a Hurricane Harvey rescue and the best girl.
BOOKS: Harry Potter, always.
HOBBY: Weaving on my loom, you can never have too much yarn!
ACTIVITY: Hiking and camping, anything outdoors.
PLACES TRAVELED: Spain, Vietnam, The Democratic Republic of the Congo, Mexico. Thailand and Cambodia
MOVIE: Jurassic Park + Harry Potter (duh!)
PLANT: ALL of them. I have a pretty good collection of house plants, 80 and growing!
DRINK: Daytime, coffee + Evenings, a bold Cab
FOOD: Thai - the more noodles the better.
HUMAN: My partner in crime and husband, Brian (that’s him in the photo). We’ve been together for 15 years and have lived in 3 states together!
